Most people have children, raise them, and then send them on. We
did that, but we added 100 extra children to our original three.
They often came to us hungry, ill clothed, and dirty. All needed
love, shelter, stability, and security in their lives. We had a
five-bedroom home, and I was a decent cook. My husband and I opened
our hearts to all that Child Protective Services sent our way. Some
children were ours temporarily, but one son became permanent. Every
child who crossed our doorstep became one hundred percent ours-
family. This book shares tidbits of our joys and frustrations, and
the richness added to our lives by 100 foster children.
