The aim of this book is to improve the teaching, understanding and
self-learning of thermodynamics through a two part approach: (i)
offering a concise model of gas thermodynamics; and (ii) offering
graphical approach to solving ideal gas thermodynamics. The book
abbreviates the basic topics of ideal gas thermodynamics, including
both the first and second laws of thermodynamics, as well as all
ideal gas laws for closed systems. This abbreviation affects the
derivations of the equations, but not the complexity of the
equations so that the reader's job of solving problems will be made
easier. At the same time, the book also offers new powerful
solution methods, along with relevant discussions and derivations
which will improve teaching, understanding and self-learning of
thermodynamics.
